What was your motivation for joining the 90-Day Challenge?
First off, having a 1-Year Challenge Champion, Jon Scaman as an upline has been a huge motivator to stick with my goals! After my 30-Day Challenge, I wanted to move into a more focused exercise regimen to reduce my weight and help my body’s ability to handle doing a 5k, which is something I had never tried before. I knew working out and training would allow me to gain strength & not be “out of breath” after walking up a couple of flights of stairs. Read More

What was your motivation for joining the 90-Day Challenge?
I have so much to be thankful for these days. My son was born in April 2017 and about 2-3 weeks post surgery I noticed I was starting to show signs of feeling occasionally blue. Add on the frustration, burn out and just exhaustion from my profession it was only intensified. My husband accepted a position at Santa Clara University, which started our process of moving across country with a 4 month old and a 4 year old in August 2017. The stress of moving, trying to find a job and just all the uncertainties with a move like this, intensified my symptoms. Luckily, by the grace of God and through searching for a piece of furniture I met some amazing people. While moving in to our house I decided to look for some furniture through Facebook market and I ended up finding a hutch that was being sold by Promoters who shared NeoLife with me. Shelley Lozonne followed-up with me and I started on the Breakfast Pack. Within a week I noticed my energy levels rising and my health improving. Now to ease the stress of finding a job my husband and I decided we would start a NeoLife business. A little under a month of starting the products, getting back to an exercising routine and feeling so much better I began my 30-Day Challenge; to complete a 5K in under 30 minutes. After completing my 30-Day, I continued on to my 90-Day Challenge; to complete a half marathon in less than 2 hours. Read More

Arciero, a member of the advisory board of the American Heart Association and a fellow of both the American College of Sports Medicine and the Obesity Society, conducted a study (published by The Journal of Applied Physiology) of 57 individuals between the ages of 35 and 57 who could clearly be described as out of shape.
In conducting this 16-week trial, Arciero randomly divided participants into 3 groups. Each group consumed 60 grams of protein daily, but exercised differently:Read More

What was your motivation for joining the 90-Day Challenge?
My motivation for joining the Challenge was to help make running a more frequent habit, improve my cardio, continue to lose weight, and motivate others. I was a recovering work-a-holic that was temporarily imprisoned in an unhealthy lifestyle of working constantly, emotionally eating, and enjoying the extended comforts of my couch. Over-consumption, lack of a balanced diet, and lack of exercise led to me gaining nearly 50 pounds. This year I turned 40 years old and made health and fitness my priority. In doing so, I have committed to participating in 40 fitness events to include runs of varying distances, obstacle courses, and more. With this 40 for 40 fitness challenge, I plan to improve my fitness levels, lose weight, and encourage as many people along the way to make health and fitness a priority in their lives. Read More

Why You Need Turmeric & Curcumin | Ingredients in NeoLife Glucose Balance
More Benefits for Sport from NeoLife Glucose Balance Ingredients: Turmeric and Curcumin
By Dr. Diane E. Clayton, SAB Member
The yellow pigment curcumin from the spice turmeric is widely used in traditional Indian cuisine and is now increasingly popular as a dietary supplement. The popularity of curcumin stems from the numerous reports that it has the ability to reduce the low-level inflammation associated with a host of chronic diseases 1. Curcumin works to dampen inflammatory responses in a variety of ways in the body and this is an area of intense research. The biological effects of curcumin are usually attributed to the presence of polyphenolic compounds, known as “curcuminoids”.
Exciting new results on curcumin have now emerged from the area of sports science and nutrition. This study adds to the knowledge base about exactly how curcumin works to dampen inflammation in the body.Read More

I joined the 90-Day Challenge because I wanted to have a very clear goal as to where I was going with my health. The thought of winning prizes is fantastic and our health is priceless.

My 90-Day goal was to run a 10k without stopping. And also to enjoy running and to make it a priority in my life. I think it is important to find a exercise that we enjoy doing and make time for in our life so that it just becomes part of my daily lifestyle.Read More
