Dr. Applegate earned her B.S. in Biochemistry, and her Ph.D., in Nutrition Science both at the University of California, Davis. Dr. Applegate is a faculty member of the Nutrition Department, and the Director of Sports Nutrition at the University of California, Davis. Dr. Applegate currently holds a position on the editorial board of the International Journal of Sport Nutrition and Exercise Metabolism.
