cris_cameron1. What was your motivation for joining the 90-Day Challenge?
As a young girl growing up in the Philippines I had bad Asthma and could not physically exert myself. Plus, I had a very poor image of myself. My husband and I had been using NeoLife products for over a year and with encouraging friends I decided that I would indeed challenge myself to run a full 26.2 mile marathon.Read More

What was your motivation for joining the 90-Day Challenge?
I have so much to be thankful for these days. My son was born in April 2017 and about 2-3 weeks post surgery I noticed I was starting to show signs of feeling occasionally blue. Add on the frustration, burn out and just exhaustion from my profession it was only intensified. My husband accepted a position at Santa Clara University, which started our process of moving across country with a 4 month old and a 4 year old in August 2017. The stress of moving, trying to find a job and just all the uncertainties with a move like this, intensified my symptoms. Luckily, by the grace of God and through searching for a piece of furniture I met some amazing people. While moving in to our house I decided to look for some furniture through Facebook market and I ended up finding a hutch that was being sold by Promoters who shared NeoLife with me. Shelley Lozonne followed-up with me and I started on the Breakfast Pack. Within a week I noticed my energy levels rising and my health improving. Now to ease the stress of finding a job my husband and I decided we would start a NeoLife business. A little under a month of starting the products, getting back to an exercising routine and feeling so much better I began my 30-Day Challenge; to complete a 5K in under 30 minutes. After completing my 30-Day, I continued on to my 90-Day Challenge; to complete a half marathon in less than 2 hours. Read More

Arciero, a member of the advisory board of the American Heart Association and a fellow of both the American College of Sports Medicine and the Obesity Society, conducted a study (published by The Journal of Applied Physiology) of 57 individuals between the ages of 35 and 57 who could clearly be described as out of shape.

In conducting this 16-week trial, Arciero randomly divided participants into 3 groups. Each group consumed 60 grams of protein daily, but exercised differently:Read More

What was your motivation for joining the 90-Day Challenge?
I joined the 90-Day Challenge to give me accountability to reach my goals. I was tired of not being comfortable with the way I looked in my clothes and my body in general. My “fluffiness” was making me feel very unhappy with myself. Being able to share and have a Challenge to keep pushing myself, this was just what I needed.Read More

Ran 200 miles & Lost 50 lbs. using Vitality Pack

What was your motivation for joining the 90-Day Challenge?
My motivation for joining the Challenge was to help make running a more frequent habit, improve my cardio, continue to lose weight, and motivate others. I was a recovering work-a-holic that was temporarily imprisoned in an unhealthy lifestyle of working constantly, emotionally eating, and enjoying the extended comforts of my couch. Over-consumption, lack of a balanced diet, and lack of exercise led to me gaining nearly 50 pounds. This year I turned 40 years old and made health and fitness my priority. In doing so, I have committed to participating in 40 fitness events to include runs of varying distances, obstacle courses, and more. With this 40 for 40 fitness challenge, I plan to improve my fitness levels, lose weight, and encourage as many people along the way to make health and fitness a priority in their lives. Read More

What was your motivation for joining the 90-Day Challenge?
To get back into running, exercising and feeling better was a great factor for me. Also, and probably more important, was to prove to myself that I could overcome a physical block by thinking more of myself, becoming mentally strong and tackle an obstacle of defeat that had stood in my way for four years.Read More

lost almost 40 lbs. & ran 10k nonstop

What was your motivation for joining the 90-Day Challenge?

I joined the 90-Day Challenge because I wanted to have a very clear goal as to where I was going with my health. I love having goals and then breaking them down and planning out how I will accomplish them. I also think the Challenge makes going after goals more fun! The thought of winning prizes is fantastic and our health is priceless.

What was your 90-Day Challenge goal?

My 90-Day goal was to run a 10k without stopping. And also to enjoy running and to make it a priority in my life. I think it is important to find a exercise that we enjoy doing and make time for in our life so that it just becomes part of my daily lifestyle.Read More

What was your motivation for joining the 90-Day Challenge?
My story is not uncommon, and that’s why it’s important. Our culture has a terrible habit of starting their lives energetic and mobile (myself included), but after the college age when most young adults are settling into their careers and starting families, everyday tasks and obligations tend to takeover our daily routines and complacency sets in with health and fitness is neglected. I’m setting out to break the habits of our society and instill a firm foundation of health in the next generation. I am using this program to catch the attention of my peers, and I am hopeful that my pictures of post goal victory will prove that NeoLife is all that it says it is.Read More

Glucosamine: The Basic Building Block Of Cartilage

full_motion_runGlucosamine is an amino sugar (a combination of an amino acid – glutamine, and a sugar – glucose) normally found in healthy cartilage. It is synthesized by many cells in our body but is concentrated in joint cartilage. Glucosamine functions as the basic building block of cartilage by first being a basic building block of glycosaminoglycans (GAG) which themselves make up very large structures known as proteoglycans. Without adequate glucosamine, proteoglycans synthesis by chondrocytes would shut down, and this in turn would cause the synthesis of cartilage to stop. Glucosamine makes up 50% of one of the most important GAGs, hyaluronic acid, which acts as a “glue” that holds cartilage matrix together. Hyaluronic acid is also a critical component of synovial fluid, which lubricates joints and keeps cartilage smooth and healthy.Read More
